I've been provided headphones through the district, but they weren't very high quality and after a year of use, we have one set that continues to work. In English and science, my low-level readers use technology such as claro read and other reading programs to aid in their learning. This is great but when you have students working on several different levels, you need headphones that work. Some of my students are able to bring in their own headphones, but others aren't quite so lucky and get to use whatever headphones I can scrounge up. It would be great to have all of my students on an equal playing field with headphones that all work that they don't have to provide.
