Our after-school club has been practicing to put on a the Willy Wonka musical for their family and friends. This club has given our students an opportunity to develop new skills and an appreciation for the dramatic arts. The dramatic arts build confidence, character, creativity, and engagement that spill over into all academic areas. We often use drama in our classrooms to increase retention of new information. This after-school club goes beyond the classroom to provide an enriching extracurricular activity to our student population. Not only our students having fun and building confidence, but they are learning as they go!

About my class
