The dry erase wall paper allows us to try a new way of learning. We have the dry erase paper up around the room and students are able to work in groups to solve math equations or compare and contrast stories we are reading. Having this paper makes it easier for students to lead their group discussions and can see other groups strategies and ideas with ease. The double sided counters have been used for so many interactive activities. They have been used to play new games with a partner, with them being double sided they are able to see who is who in the game. The counters have also been used to help students count with their 10 frame, and have enhanced student learning through a multitude of activities. \r\n\r\nThe Velcro dots are extremely helpful to students and Subs. Each student is given a classroom number and their number is written on the dots. The dots are placed in a line by the front door, so students know where their spot is in line with ease and there is no fighting over where someone stands. The dots are also placed on the carpet, where we sit for learning, this way everyone knows where their spot is and everyone has space. \r\n\r\nThe calendar and schedule chart is very helpful for students when it comes to transitions. They always know what is coming next and what time we are transitioning. The calendar helps the students keep track of the date, the months holidays, and any classmates birthdays. \r\n\r\nThank you again for helping fund my project and making learning and easy transitions possible for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1725974400734,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-necessities/8720888/","projectTitle":"Classroom Necessities","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Keicer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7222033"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_54816","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":379,"numTeachers":33,"percentFrplEligible":66,"percentAsian":10,"percentBlack":17,"percentWhite":17,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":50,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"11.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":60.3,"schoolId":54816,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Christa McAuliffe Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Christa McAuliffe Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/virginia/prince-william-county-public-schools/sharon-c-mcauliffe-elementary-school/54816"}
