These books will enable us to start a book set library in our classroom that enables each student to have a book as we read aloud together. Students will be able to delve deeper into literature studies, have richer discussions, and ask intuitive and interpretive questions. Using text evidence is an important standard in reading and writing. When each student has a book in hand, the student is able to cite text evidence, elaborate, and support each answer. These quality historical fiction and nonfiction novels will help the gifted students excel in their reading abilities and skills, increase their social studies knowledge, gain science knowledge, and nurture inspiration for future presentations and projects. These novels will inspire students to ask and solve real world questions, motivate research, and be inspired to learn more about those who made a positive difference in our world. These books will open their minds to better projects and presentations.
