Being a self-contained teacher, I spend my days teaching my kids 5 different core subjects. That means I have a wide variety of needs if I am going to reach my students. This project will help me meet those needs in both Math and Reading instruction. I am a firm believer that students will be more engaged with their learning when they are working hands on and having fun. So, this project is all about hands on learning. It is everything from Reading center games to Math manipulatives that will help my tactile learners really grasp our second grade concepts.

About my class
