My students will utilize these materials in cooperative learning groups. The students will use the materials/kits to build and design products that offer solutions to real-life problems. Hands-on learning, such as this, builds skills necessary for students to be successful in all areas of their life. Students will work in groups to determine issues we face and possible solutions to those problems; whether it be a model of a moon rover, or models alternative energy resources.. Students will have the chance to build alternative energy source models, solar cars and more. They will build windmills, solar energy "collectors" and hydroelectric models. Swhy alternative energy are imperative to our future.
