We are requesting sensory floor tiles. sensory sand, sensory beads and mats. Preschoolers are learning through their senses. Having items available to explore with our senses of touch and sight will help them understand their environment better. Floor tiles will help us create sensory walks where they can explore how liquids feel under their hands and feet. They can also be used to help with regulating emotions, as the children can choose to use them to sit on them as they calm down. Hands-on learning has been proven to be the best way for children to experience their world and offering as many opportunities in a preschool classroom only enriches the learning.
