My students are learning the value of reading and how it will benefit their lives. We are seeing the beginnings of a new reading mindset with the students and wish to push them to new limits by providing them new books for the classrooms. Books provide windows into different worlds. These requested books are standards when considering literature for this age group. Many of my students are learning English as a second language and I want to provide more options that will help them improve on their English. We are learning more and more about standards within literature and I want my students to be able to explore those books for themselves. The requested books are not currently available at my school.
