The materials will enrich the classroom experience for all students because, with flexible seating, they will be able to work around the classroom and find a place they feel comfortable working. Flexible seating allows students' minds to be alert and focused because moving around is connected with health benefits. Some of those health benefits include building core strength, allowing blood flow, and increasing oxygen levels to their brains. In our classroom, we often work in groups and we engage in many hands-on projects throughout the school year; therefore, I want to provide flexible furniture to my students which will allow them to move around more easily.
