My students use technology as a part of their daily classroom lives. However, many students struggle to read and write at a basic level. Technology is an integral part of their education, but it can act as an additional barrier to success for students with learning disabilities. My students are in need of headphones with microphones to help them gain full access to this technology. Students will utilize "text-to-speech" in order to hear the audio of the words, instructions or articles on their computer. They will use "speech-to-text" in order to dictate their thoughts to the screen. I am asking for 20 pairs of headphones with microphones for our daily classroom use.
