The majority of my students are English Language Learners and need every opportunity to practice their listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Headphones would facilitate these skills on their Chromebooks with different programs and ultimately on their state mandated test. The headphones would also help Special Ed students and students with Dyslexia, who would be able to find more success through oral or auditory learning, when needing to read novels for class. By having a class set of headphones I would be able to accommodate more of my students and you would help ensure that 100% of my students are achieving success just like their peers.
