My students currently do not have a sensory center in our classroom. A sensory center would improve my students with disabilities fine motor skills. My students use Play-doh as a fidget to help them remain focused and have never had the opportunity to explore a sensory center. A sensory center would provide students a place to calm down when they are in distress as well as allow them to explore a variety of different textures. My students learn best in a small group and a tabletop easel would improve students' outcomes by improving their ability to focus with having the classwork on the board directly in front of them.
