These materials will have a huge impact in my small group instruction to help students with fluency and comprehension. It will give them more choices when selecting the book we will be working with. Choice puts the student in charge of their learning and they are more attentive when it is something they are interested in. The experiences these books will bring to my students is so beneficial. Living in rural Michigan these books will help open the mind and hearts of my students. It will help them grow socially and emotionally as they follow how their characters react to life situations. Providing more tools in their toolbox.
