My students are in need of basic school supplies to help them continue in their distance learning. These kindergartners are from many different socioeconomic backgrounds; many families are unable to provide even the most basic of art supplies. At the beginning of the school year, the students were provided an 8-pack of crayons for art and other schoolwork. As of now, this is all they have for the art lessons I teach. By now these crayons have been worn down and the students are very limited by only 8 colors. My aim is to teach my students to be creative and able to use their imagination as they create art. A wider choice of colors will help to achieve this. I am requesting a basic and essential supply for my students; a pack of crayons with a wide choice of colors. Thank you for this consideration in a very unique and uncertain time for students and their learning.
