Guided reading is a daily component of our English Language Arts block. My students read and take books at their reading level home every day to practice reading with their families. Our curriculum does not have enough books for my students to take different books home or enough books at each level for students to practice their reading. By donating to our project, not only will you help my students practice their reading but will also allow them to develop a love for reading in them and in their families. My students love to read but oftentimes become bored because they have to repeat the books throughout the year.

About my class
