Everyone wants a chance to learn to strum! In this class you will learn the fundamentals of the ukulele. At our school, we have STEAM2 classes offered. These classes reflect science, technology, engineering, arts, medicine and mathematics. Offering the ukelele class as an option provides them with meeting the arts as well as touching on mathematics, engineering and science. We will learn about the ukulele itself, fingerpicking, strumming, chords that will all be a part of your first songs! Come and strum if you are ready to rock on the uke! My hope is to put a quality instrument in each of these student's hands. I will be funding the other needs (books, racks and picks through other sources).
