Many of my students need some extra support with their basic math skills. School is often the only time these skills can be reinforced and with a limited amount of resources available; this can become very challenging to overcome. Being that I am an ELL teacher, I have a lot of kinesthetic and visual learners who can really benefit from these hands-on manipulatives. These activities will be used during my small group instruction, math centers, and after-school tutoring program. We have many hard topics coming up and in order to be successful, my students need to master their basic math computations. They are currently struggling with their multiplication and division facts. Through continuous repetition, I believe that these resources can help engage my students in a fun and exciting way, along with building their math fluency. By donating to this project, you will not only help boost my student's confidence in math but you will also provide an endless opportunity for their learning. I can't wait for my students to get their hands on these AMAZING resources!
