My students need a small group table where they can be supported in a more intimate setting. In my classroom I need an area for students to receive small group instruction. This project would provide students with a table they can write on while they receive more support. I can use this table in Social Studies, Writing, Math, Science and ELA small groups! For example, it will be beneficial for my students to sound out words, write them, and use them in sentences. They can also solve math problems by drawing pictures (shapes), erase it and do it again! The activity table would give one group a supportive area to work, while breaking up the space to allow for a more intimate setting. I hope we can fit myself or my Instructional Assistant, as well as six students at this table for daily small group engagement and instruction.
