Having these books will increase my students' interest in reading books that focus on the history of our country. Reading a nonfiction book on the historical events have excited them to learn more. Comparing fiction and nonfiction text is a standard that is required by our state. These books will be such a valuable addition to our class unit on the American Revolution. These book will not only increase their knowledge of historical events, they will also help my students to grow stronger in reading. The books will also allow them to independently read and comprehend books on their level.

About my class
