Our school has several talented student-athletes that fall under the 70% who unfortunately can't afford a proper pair of track shoes for meets and practices. They want to be at practice and they want to get better. This is difficult without the proper shoes needed for the track. Many of our athletes have basic running shoes they wear that have holes, are falling a part and some that are even to small. We want our kids to feel confident that when they compete, their shoes are going to hold up strong in every event. The goal for us, is to instill the confidence and belief in our athletes that they can compete and succeed against high levels of competition within the other junior highs. Something as small as shoes, can make the difference for our kids.
