This will make a difference in my classroom because it will make my classroom feel more like a normal classroom and not a room where the ASD students are expected to spend their day without having the things they need. We have struggled to get funding for this project from our school district due to its very low special education budget. All of the materials in our classroom have been funded by myself and my personal paycheck. Please assist me in this more expensive part in making our room feel more complete. Our current rug is a thin, all blue rug that is caked with dirt and completely destroyed, that was not at all meant for a classroom. Please help us to make the kids comfortable and happy in their environment.
