Enrique's Journey is a remarkable story about a Honduran boy who travels to the United States to look for his mother who he hasn't seen in 11 years. Many of our students are from Honduras and other parts of Central America. This book would give our students the opportunity to read about a topic that relates to their own lives. Ultimately, our goal is to encourage our students to read while helping them reach their potential. Additionally, our students lack the funds to go out and purchase their own books. We would be very grateful and blessed to have the opportunity to read Enrique's Journey.

About my class
