The students that I service for occupational therapy have many challenges that they face when it comes to written and/or verbal communication/output making it difficult and frustrating for them to express their thoughts with the traditional use of writing. With the assistance of technology, specifically typing, my students will be able to express both their written and/or verbal thoughts throughout their school day and at home with their families! This desktop computer will give them access to learn the skill of typing. They will not only be able to type on a computer but on their communication devices. Giving students the appropriate tools and access to participate in their everyday life is crucial. Everyone deserves the opportunity to express themselves and to flourish in their academic environment with the appropriate tools!
