Visual schedules and First/Then boards are strategies to help scholars with Special Needs, we have scholars with Autism at out school. These strategies also work for scholars who need a visual reminder for monitoring and improving their behavior. Research has shown that having something presented in color enhances the individual's visual memory and they are more likely to recall a color image than a black and white one. Having these schedules and boards in a color format help the eyes focus on the task needed to be done.Color is also known to stimulate different areas of the brain which helps in achievement and learning.
