A decodable reading instruction program will allow my older students to learn to read with limited English vocabularies. This reading skill can then be used to help them as they acquire English. The materials chosen will allow them to learn with dignity, with materials that are not made for smaller children. My students come from areas where attending school was not always possible. Materials to teach them to read at middle school are not always available for these students. Receiving these materials will make a big impact for these deserving students.
