Students will practice matching , identifying and naming letters and sounds through physical activities such as hopping on letter carpets, tossing bean bag letters, and forming letters in sand and using American Sign Language letter signs! Our hope is to get our young learners excited, motivated and energized about reading and writing by providing work that literally moves them into action! Our RTI students need diverse opportunities with multisensory and developmentally appropriate experiences to build phonemic awareness and alphabetic mastery. Paper and pencil tasks sometimes present challenges to our young learners. With these materials, our students are sure to be excited and motivated, jumping their way toward benchmark goals!
