A subscription to Scholastic News Choices will help me lead great discussions with my class about making good choices. These materials will help me teach 5 main social skills to my students who struggle with social skills. Those 5 areas are social-emotional learning, life skills, mental health, personal health, and digital citizenship. These materials will give them a new way of understanding social skills. I will use the teacher guide that comes with the subscription to teach each lesson in a way to help the students better understand their own actions and how it affects other people.
