Our school is located in a quiet valley near downtown Honolulu. About two-thirds of the students in our Title I school qualify for free and reduced-price lunch. Many students are part native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. Curious, ambitious, and creative: my students are eager to dive deep into learning every day. My goal is to instill a love for learning in each of my students. Due to the amazing diversity in my classroom, the methods and environments in which my students learn best vary greatly. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right in my classroom! My students are an amazing group who support each other and work together to always do their best work.
