My IB students are going to be taking rigorous IB exams in order to earn their IB diploma. I would like to provide them a different opportunity as they close out their senior year. My goal for the 4th quarter is for students to be exposed to literature that will promote discussion, and critical thinking, and allow them to read a different genre. This will develop them as readers and equip them with tools for their upcoming year in college. The goal of reading the novel Valentine is for IB seniors chat with the author via Skype. Students will discuss the novel with the author and discuss themes and characters. Students will explore themes and topics that are very real in today's society.

About my class
