This project will help make my transition from fifth grade to first grade a seamless one. It will provide my first graders with an opportunity to engage in independent and small group learning tasks that are both educationally appropriate and entertaining for young minds. With the funding of this project, my first graders will able to build reading and math literacy throughout the year and develop a sturdy foundation for skills they will need to meet each day with success. Education may be changing every day, but one thing that will not go out of style is the desire children have to play games and learn.

About my class
