With the use of tablets, help me spark the desire to read learn in my students! The flexible seating and technology that I am requesting have a home in our classroom. Starting in a special education position halfway through the year provides the challenge of catching up the gaps of learning the children had. Flexible seating will help with the concentration during our small group lessons and allow them to work in their best work space- whether on the floor or at the table. It also keeps the kiddos safe from falling because the flexible seating is specially designed! By donating to our project, you will not only help the students increase their focus and provide a modern outlet for learning, but increase their academic achievement. Even though they are doing great with what they have, I know that they will love the addition of these items to the classroom! My students will be able to focus on the activities that we are completing with a true interest in a familiar format- technology. Without technology, it is hard for the children to work on different skills and keep track of it at school and home. Students will not only be able to work on our classroom reading and math activities, but will be rewarded with the opportunity to use the tablet as an interactive book. I want to spark their imaginations and desire grow academically and emotionally!
