With the use of the Maker Kit I will be able to help my students learn about Mathematics, Engineering and Science! They will be able to use and reuse these kits over and over again for many different projects. Some of my students favorite activities include simple machines, building structures and rovers. Your gracious donation to our classroom will ensure that my students get a head start on STEM learning needed for future careers. With these kits I can teach them anything from simple machines to very complex roller coasters. They can also begin learning about building construction and the engineering processes that go into manufacturing. Hands on learning that happens in my STEM class can not be replaced with pictures or diagrams. These kits will make those pictures and diagrams in the lessons come to life and build on the understanding of how to make 2D pictures come together to make a 3D object or building.
