These puppets have quickly become beloved members of our music room.\r\n\r\nOur students especially adore meeting Barley Bear, who is loud, rowdy, and full of energy; Cheeky Peter Rabbit, who helps us practice using a strong speaking voice; Flutter the butterfly, who is shy and soft-spoken; and Pip the baby owl, who absolutely adores singing. Each character proudly believes their voice is the best—and that has opened the door for rich conversations and playful exploration around the four voices: speaking, whispering, singing, and loud.\r\n\r\nThrough centers and guided play, students have been able to experiment with these different voices using the puppets and other stuffies. For many of our littlest learners, the puppets provide a safe and joyful way to try new sounds, take expressive risks, and find confidence in their own unique voices.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has brought imagination, laughter, and meaningful learning into our classroom. Thank you for helping our students discover that every voice matters—and that music can be both playful and powerful.\r\n\r\nWith heartfelt gratitude,\r\nJennifer Olson","fullyFundedDate":1756132835475,"projectUrl":"project/puppet-power-helping-little-voices-shin/9638685/","projectTitle":"Puppet Power: Helping Little Voices Shine","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Olson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9524959_orig.jpg?crop=3900,3901,x0,y507&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1722393644404","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9524959"},{"teacherId":9026441,"projectId":9519779,"letterContent":"These supplies have been used in morning times and during indoor recess when it is too cold or we are unable to go outside each of the supplies represents an interest that is specific to different groups of students and was well sat out so that everyone feels involved and supported during Free choice time.
