As mentioned in other parts of this request, every student will be able to have an extra layer of protection between them and their peers in a class where social-distancing may not be possible. Looking at potential class sizes for the upcoming year, there will be 30-35 students per class. When the pandemic started, I had envisioned that schools, and school districts, would be able to supply PPE like these sneeze guard partitions. Instead, the only available PPE are masks, hand sanitizer, and air filters. Our students want to return to school! While the perfect conditions to do so do not exist, I would like to help students, parents, and myself feel as much more comfortable as possible. Any way to take away from distractions of the pandemic should only help our students learn better.
