Mathematics can be intimidating for all, especially middle school students. I consistently seek to provide rich, meaningful opportunities for my students to engage with mathematics the way mathematicians do. Calculators are a major part of this process. TI 34 Multiview Scientific Calculators will allow my students the chance to explore and grapple with math the way mathematicians do, as well as solve complex math problems more efficiently. These calculators will allow my middle school students to dig deeper into math content such as ratios and proportions, percents, simple interest, functions, algebraic expressions and equations, & inequalities. These calculators will truly support the academic growth of our youth in an urban education setting.
