My students would benefit from a carpet in the classroom since they will be able to recognize it as a place where they are going to share with their classmates, and learn new things. Right now we are sharing our ideas sitting on the classroom floor, and it will make a huge difference in the classroom to be able to sit on an actual carpet. This carpet will symbolize a time for unity between teacher and students. I always let my students share their ideas and beliefs during the lessons, and I believe a carpet would be the perfect place to do it.
