The materials I am requesting for my classroom will help build stations and centers. I want my students to be highly engaged in activities that will boost their reading comprehension and open their eyes to what reading is all about! With this printer, I will be able to print and make multiple copies of activities, games and resources all in color for them to enjoy. Reading is fun and it is not all black and white! Having the accessibility to print out reading interactive notebooks, graphic organizers and task cards will inspire and motivate my students to have a great time while they are learning at the same time. I want my students to be able to get their hands on interesting stories and to able to explore about what is going on outside from the city they live in. My campus only has 2 printers with over 500 students and over 50 teachers. With this project I will be able to move faster and plan adequately without worrying about the availability to print a resource. The sky is not the limit for them and I want to be able to give them what they need because reading is the foundation for all other subjects and careers.
