My students struggle with comprehension because they have a deficit when it comes to words. They don know many therefore they struggle when trying to read. The books and audio will help expose them to new words and audio will help them hear how they sound. I want them to be successful beyond school. I want them to feel confident in themselves and their abilities. Reading also leads to better writing. These are areas my students struggle the most. Choosing books that they connect with also motivates reading. Audio increases fluency. With your help they can be successful in school and in the world. Thank you.
