Two teachers in my department have iPad Pro's and they have been able to transform their classrooms. Their classrooms are more exciting, their students are more excited and engaged, and their lessons are more dynamic. With an iPad Pro, I can follow in their footsteps, and break from tradition by interacting with my students in more exciting and dynamic ways. Traditionally a teacher stands in front of a chalkboard or whiteboard to present, write, display, and solve problems. This is problematic because no matter where I stand I am blocking some students' view of the board. Even projecting a presentation requires the teacher to be stagnant in front of the class. In order to answer help a student with a problem, I have to walk to a student's desk and away from the controls of the presentation. This drastically slows instruction and limits the time spent on actual instruction. With an iPad Pro, I can project my lessons and still move around the room without leaving the controls. This will make my lessons more engaging and increase my interactions with the students.
