Adults in the work force often complain about the sedentary nature of their jobs, where they spend hours in a stationary position with few opportunities to move! Now imagine thirty, 10-11 year old kids trying to sit still for six hours a day. Wobble chairs are an incredible tool that benefit teachers and students alike. These stools are designed to give students an outlet to move their bodies in a safe and minimally distractive way, while keeping student attention focused on learning and not trying to sit still! Additionally, these chairs are compact and light, which saves space in cramped classrooms. In a teaching age where small group instruction and skill intervention are critical, these chairs provide the versatility teachers need to be successful. My students deserve a learning environment that reflects their needs as growing kids, one where they are free to move and feel comfortable! These chairs will be used at my intervention table and will be a welcomed reprieve from the stiffness of students' everyday desks!
