Engaged Bodies Create Engaged Brains will allow me to teach a variety of lessons across the grades, from k-8th grade, to create physically literate students. These items will engage bodies and minds, and build confidence in my students’ ability to move and play for a lifetime of physical activity that will benefit their physical, mental, and intellectual health. This equipment can be used across grade levels in flexible ways to develop a variety of physical skills. This equipment will allow my students to experience new ways to approach lifetime healthy movement and physical fitness that benefits not only their bodies, but their brain development and mental health as well.
