These materials will help my students have an organized learning environment. Each shelf will be placed in a group. The students will take ownership of having their materials available and organized for an easier transition throughout the day. It will help them get to work faster without wasting time looking for stuff. According to Parent Today: "While the idea that organization leads to academic success may seem like a no-brainer, the science behind the impact of organization and organizational methods on student achievement has been widely studied –and has proven that being organized really does make for a more successful student." It's important for them to start learning at this young age. I want to instill this in them in order for them to be successful in the long run.
