The materials for this Physics lab class will be used to create the first hands-on science learning class our school has to offer! Our physics is currently taught using an online curriculum so our engagement from students is coming mostly watching videos of phenomena and phet labs. Our students are incredibly investigative and curious so they do usually engage with the basic Physics demos that can be shown with basic objects. However, I can't wait to see the effect of the "wow" factor we could achieve with full scale labs. If you think back to your science classes from high school, you probably don't remember the equations, facts, or laws from sixteenth century scientists; you remember the phenomena. These materials will be used to show students about the magic of the natural world. They will be used to create inquisitive learners who are genuinely driven to answer the question, "How is that laser pointer playing music?"
