I am trying to teach students comprehension and reading skills, but ultimately to love reading. For readers theaters there are some props and resources needed to do it sufficiently and I feel the more sufficiently it's done and the more put together the more it will benefit my students. It is fun, and engaging and they will never forget this book. This tool can be used for all the books they read. It brings them to life and gives them a visual rather then just words on a page. This project will also give my students a voice. As I mentioned before many of students feel they are put on a back burner and do not fit in with their peers academically. This project can change that.
