Quality bats, gloves, and better practice materials will improve the way girls learn. Having leftover equipment; old, borrowed, hand-me-down equipment does not put us in a position to change their thinking about being from where they're from. But new softball equipment would help to motivate them to feel better about learning the game. In turn, the equipment will assist in opening their minds to living a new life away from their adverse situations. We can teach them about the quality of life outside the environment you grow up living. And show them what life has to offer beyond their level of familiarity.

About my class
