If my project is fully funded these stage-floor microphones will be placed in the auditorium, allowing choir, show choir, band, musical theater performances, and school showcases to be heard even from the balcony. Due to our school's limited audio equipment students are consistently being told to be louder because not all students can hold the 1 microphone that our school has. For most young students this is out of their comfort zone and results in louder volume but less correct notes. With these microphones students in choir can focus on getting the notes correct instead of belting to be heard. You will be able to hear all of the parts in the musical (not just the leads). The show choir and grade levels performing in showcases will be able to move and dance on stage without losing the words to their performance. This equipment will be the difference in comfort and sound for every student that is able to perform on stage throughout the school year.
