These materials will help my students learn to read and to develop number sense. The children will use the reading materials to help them learn the letters of the alphabet and how to write them. Learning how to count syllables, identify rhyming words and sight words are all part of a balanced approach to reading. Puzzles provide a challenging way to learn those skills. Some of the children are hands-on learners so the Alphabet Feel and Find Sensory Tub fits their learning style. The math materials will help them recognize numbers and their quantities. In addition to learning the foundations for reading and math, these materials will help my students develop a positive work ethic. They will also learn character traits such as sharing, perseverance, problem solving and helping others.
