By providing students with the materials, you are enabling them to learn new art techniques, explore with different materials, and find different ways of expression. From building gingerbread houses out of milk cartons to pirate ships out of popsicle sticks, these students have done it all and are eager to do more! In our art class, students are challenged with one material to base their work on, a topic, and are set to create. These children, if given the opportunity, would love to use materials to try to build bigger and better things. Popsicle sticks and paint are a staple in most of our crafting projects and will be very helpful in assisting them to continue creating.
