Math games and activities can be used in several different ways to help students practice recalling information quickly and accurately. Students are more willing to participate in math if it is made exciting and fun for them. Prizes will also be awarded to make it enticing for students and to keep them motivated. Many students are several grade levels behind in math. During the day, I see over one hundred students who would benefit from basic games such as bingo. A fraction of those students have an additional math class during the day to help them get caught up. They are also lacking in their basic multiplication and division skills which are necessary for higher level mathematics. With these games and activities, I hope to close the gap and have students become successful in math.
