It is my plan to use a LEGO kit along with literacy lessons in the library for students to retell stories or to create new endings. I also want to give them the opportunity to practice cooperation and social interaction with other students through the many different ways the LEGO bricks can be incorporated into library time such as creating stop animation and using tablets to create book talks. The students could really take ownership of these types of projects in the library. My students have been begging for projects like this; I just need some help to make it happen for them.
